Some families just stay with you — and Lexi & Kyle are absolutely one of them.

I first met these two when they welcomed their daughter, Harper, into the world. Being invited back to document their growing family again — this time through a full Bump to Babe package — was such an honor. Watching a family evolve from one baby to two (and now two under two!) is something I never take lightly.

A Dreamy, Snow-Covered Maternity Session ❄️

Lexi dreamed of a snowy maternity session her entire pregnancy. We talked about it more than once, hoping the timing would line up just right… and somehow, it did.

On the exact day of their session, the snow fell perfectly. Soft, quiet, and straight out of a winter fairytale — like it was meant just for them. Lexi absolutely glowed, Kyle was steady and supportive as ever, and that teal gown against the fresh white snow was magic.

A couple of weeks later, I met them again — this time at MercyOne — to photograph their Fresh 48 session.

Sweet baby Carter made his arrival weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and he was already so alert and expressive. These sessions are some of my favorites because they capture the real, raw beginning — hospital bracelets, wrinkly fingers, tired smiles, and brand-new love.

Newborn Session: Real Life, Real Love

Carter’s newborn session took place two weeks after his arrival, and it was everything a lifestyle session should be — honest, imperfect, and full of heart.

Harper was… well… very much a toddler that day 😅

She wasn’t interested in posing, sitting still, or following directions — and honestly? That’s exactly what made these images so special.

Instead of forcing perfection, we leaned into real life:

The beautiful chaos of becoming a family of four

Those are the moments that matter most.

And Carter?

He was wide awake for his entire session — taking everything in, watching his parents, and already showing so much personality.

Two Under Two, So Much Love

Two under two is a season filled with noise, movement, exhaustion, and an overwhelming amount of love. Lexi and Kyle are stepping into it with grace, patience, and hearts so clearly full.

Thank you for trusting me — again — to tell your story. Watching your family grow has been such a joy, and I cannot wait to see the memories Harper and Carter will one day look back on.
