There is something incredibly special about December newborns — the quiet, the coziness, the way the world seems to slow down just enough to make room for love.

Margot Mae was born on November 29, 2025, and her full newborn session took place early one winter morning, allowing us to lean fully into a lifestyle-focused approach, with soft posed images woven in afterward.

This session felt calm, intentional, and deeply connected — exactly how newborn photography should feel.

A Lifestyle-First Newborn Session

Margot’s session began with lifestyle images, capturing her in her parents’ arms, surrounded by the people who love her most. These moments are always my favorite — the way parents naturally hold their baby, the quiet glances, the tenderness that can’t be posed.

As the morning unfolded, we transitioned into gently posed images of Margot, followed by sweet sibling moments with her big sisters:

Lucy (3) — full of warmth and curiosity

Amelia (1.5) — tender, observant, and a little silly

Watching sisters bond with their newest sibling is always magic, and Margot was already so at ease in their presence.

Including the Whole Family

This full newborn session also included portraits of Grace and Colin with their girls — simple, connected images that reflect this season of life exactly as it is. No pressure, no perfection — just love, closeness, and the beginning of a new chapter as a family of five.

A Thoughtful, Baby-Led Experience

Full newborn sessions are designed to move slowly and intentionally, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and connection. Every detail — from the neutral textures to the soft pink knits — was chosen to keep the focus on Margot and her family, not the props.

This session is a perfect example of how lifestyle and posed newborn photography can live beautifully together.

Margot Mae, you are so loved already 🤍

It was an honor to document these first days for your family.
